Testing Fees

The Australian Rickettsial Reference Laboratory is a specialised not-for-profit laboratory and the costs associated with testing contribute directly towards maintaining our high level of testing and diagnostic services. Any tests referred may be subject to out-of-pocket testing fees billed directly to the patient. For a full list of fees or to request a quote, please contact our Accounts department. 

Medicare Rebate

We attempt to bulk bill where possible. Medicare rebates may be available. Approval for a Medicare rebate is subject to a valid Medicare card and if the Medicare threshold has not yet been reached. We also require a valid provider number from your referring practitioner.  Please contact our Accounts Department for any inquiries.
